Some counters are surfaces. An island with a waterfall edge and lit stone is architecture. MSB Granite & Marble fabricates waterfall islands where the veining folds over the edge and runs to the floor in one continuous line, with miter joints tight enough to read as a solid block of stone.
For translucent stones and backlit panels we install LED systems under and behind the stone, dimmable and hidden, so the light source disappears and the material does the talking. It is the signature piece we love building most.

Does a waterfall edge work with any material?
Granite, marble, quartz and porcelain can all fold into a waterfall. Materials with strong veining look best because the pattern visibly wraps over the corner.
Can lighting be added to my existing countertop?
Often yes. If your counters have an overhang or open toe kick we can retrofit LED channels without replacing the stone.
